  • Explore the ’emotional landscape’ and how staff can bring themselves into balance throughout the day so they reduce end of day fatigue
  • Show the importance of ’emotional hygiene’ and how to bring in simple daily habits to stay fresh and emotionally ‘clean’
  • Introduce the concept of ‘energy efficiency’ and teach a simple but wonderful tool to not only address energy maintenance, but also build energy reserves and develop longer term resilience
  • How to increase feelings of gratitude, appreciation and patience

Heart Focused Mindfulness Meditation

Designed for: Teams and Groups

A  45 minute event that focuses around a 20 minute guided meditation session that brings the heart and mind into a balanced and nourished state.

  • Facilitates a sense of relief for each individual as they have the opportunity to stop and deeply relax
  • Renew energy levels and encourage the body to enter a regenerative state for physical healing (exit the fight/flight mode)
  • Improve authentic and effective communication within the team
  • Support learning the skills of self-kindness and compassion for longer term wellbeing
  • Each individual will be gifted with a 10 minute recording to continue their practice at home

2-4 Hour Self-Care Training

Designed for: Professional Development; Team Building; Volunteers and Groups

Modules:

Can include some or all of the following (depending on organisation needs and time frames)

  • The physiology of self care – what is going on in the body and why self-care is essential
  • Understanding the personal daily emotional landscape and how this education enhances our capacity to manage our emotions (for ourselves and those we serve)
  • Healthy sleep habits
  • Coherent and authentic communication skills
  • How staff can reconnect with their vision for care (when they may have become a little jaded)
  • How to manage energy through the day and build energy reserves long term
  • Healthy daily rituals for self-care
  • The fundamentals of building emotional, mental and physical resilience
  • The fundamentals and importance of ’emotional hygiene’ for both self-care and service to clients
